The other day, we got an email from a Bacon Salt customer named Kelly. It read as follows:
I have had a dream
for years to make a bacon sandwich on bacon bread with bacon mayonnaise (before
baconnaise existed). My sister bought me a baconnaise and bacon salt gift set for Christmas - and it
made me realize that I could fulfill my bacon sandwich dream. I made bacon bread by replacing the oil in a normal white bread recipe with
bacon grease, and kneaded 4 strips of bacon into the dough. I used regular
salt, but I could have used bacon salt - it would be a good addition. The bread
turned out with just the right amount of bacon flavor. I just ate my dream sandwich and it was amazing. Thank you for baconnaise. It helped me fulfill a dream. Attached are some photographs of the sandwich (and myself with it).
