Things are quite busy in baconland as we gear up for the holidays. The fruits of our labor will be some great new bacon-flavored items coming out just in time for the holidays.
Among them is something called Baconnaise, The Ultimate Bacon Flavored Spread, which will come in Regular and Lite flavors. We're putting the final touches on it now (being produced as we speak) and will have it up and available on our website very soon, within the next few days. QFC in Seattle will also be carrying it (If anyone knows a cheap way to ship things over 1 lb, please let us know so we can pass on the savings to our customers)
The response to Baconnaise has been really funny - either we have "reaffirmed faith in humanity," "destroyed the space/time continuum" or somewhere in between. We think a lot of the latter comes from people who hate mayo (ironically, so do we - Baconnaise is different, we promise), but time will tell. Unless we've really destroyed the space/time continuum... in which case, we're all hosed.
In addition, we'll have a really cool gift pack of several new flavors of Bacon Salt, Baconnaise and a special surprise bacon-flavored gift that we'll publicize soon. More details to come!
You may have noticed our snazzy new website for Baconnaise and for J&D's Foods. We'll be adding more fun stuff for all you Bacon Heads out there. Just in case you're wondering, our website was created by Rachel over at Wired Pixels. She's a great friend and, as you can probably see, a great web developer and producer. Thanks Rachel!

Any hints on which QFCs? I've been bothering the poor people at the Lake City store a couple times a week for it now with no luck so far

QFC picked up their first shipment yesterday. It will be at all the QFC's, hopefully within a week!! In the meantime, City Fish at Pike Place Market may have a jar or two left. But it's going fast so I'd suggest calling ahead!
