Super Bacon Recipe #2: Super Bacon and Egg Breakfast Muffin

Superbaconeggmuffin My little slice of heaven in the morning is hitting a tiny office park deli for an English muffin with egg and bacon seasoned with Hickory Bacon Salt. I figured my own recreation of this would make a great "super bacon" recipe, i.e. combining actual bacon and Bacon Salt for an extra baconey treat, so here goes:

Super Bacon and Egg Muffin

  • Prepare 1-2 scrambled eggs (almost like an omelette - the egg should be in one piece so it fits on the muffin) and 1-2 slices of bacon
  • Toast and butter an English muffin
  • Place egg and bacon on the English muffin, season with Hickory Bacon Salt
  • Melted cheese is optional (I prefer it without but I don't use a lot of cheese on anything)

I heard your story on NPR today and came to your site. I am intrigued and read that you are coming out with an all natural version. I will wait for that to place my order so do have any idea when you will start selling the all natural version? I will ask my local grocers to stock it when you do. Thanks!

Thanks for your interest April! We estimate that the natural version should come out by the end of January. We're very close to the flavor we want, just going through some tweaks and then need to get it produced.
