As you might have heard, Jon Stewart showed a fake Baconnaise billboard in Times Square recently (driven by his failed attempt to coat a Jimmy Dean pancake wrapped sausage on a stick into a jar of Lite Baconnaise).
We liked this billboard so much that we asked about actually running it in Times Square and trying to get Fox News to cover it. We're sad to report that we just got word that, while Jon himself thought it would be funny, Jon's agent and Comedy Central said no. While we're waiting for them to reconsider, here is the billboard campaign we would have run if they had let us:
The moral of the story? Don’t EVER dip pancake wrapped sausages on
a stick into Baconnaise. You’ve been warned.
C'mon Comedy Central! Your first name is COMEDY after all!

John Keister of Almost Live's old comedy writing partner is a Big Shot at Comedy Central. Why not as John, as a Seattle-booster, to make the pitch to his old buddy for you?
