Bacon Salt in Your Booze - Part Deux

BoozepictureThe mysterious person behind the OMG-ponies.com blog - who apparently hates Christmas - is on a quest to make every one of his/her favorite cocktails taste like bacon. He/she has some delicious cocktails planned over the coming year, including:

  • February: Bacotini (Bacon Martini)
  • March: Bacon Sour (Bacon Whiskey Sour) 
  • April: Baco-rita (Bacon Margarita)
  • Smarch: Bacon Sunrise (Bacon Tequila Sunrise)
  • May: Bacon Julep (Bacon Mint Julep)
  • June: Bacon Collins (Bacon Tom Collins)
  • July: Bacon Daiquiri vs. Bacon Colada taste test
  • August: Bacojito (Bacon Mojito) vs. Bacorinha (Bacon Caipirinha) taste test
  • September: Bacon Fizz (Bacon Gin Fizz)
  • October: Bacontoberfest - Bacon Salt and beers, ales, stouts, and ciders 
  • November: Bacon & Bourbon - a sampler of American whiskeys and bourbons with Bacon Salt 
  • December: Bacon Nog (Bacon Egg Nog)

His first recipe is for a Bacon Mary, which will be something we will definitely try this weekend. Note: if you're easily offended, don't go there.
