Ah, turkey burgers. Not quite as good as a regular hamburger, but way healthier for you. The good news is that this is an easy way to dress up a turkey burger with our special version of a bacon guacamole recipe, add loads of bacon and guacamole flavor and take out that sorta weird not-quite-a-hamburger taste.
Turkey Burgers with Guaca-Bacon-Mole
2 lbs ground turkey
2-3 tbsp of your favorite flavor of Bacon Salt (jalapeno is our favorite)
Hamburger buns and veggie garnishes (lettuce, tomato, red onion and/or cheese depending on your preference)
For the Guaca-Bacon-Mole:
1 ripe avocado
1/8 cup of your favorite brand or fresh salsa
1.5 tablespoons Baconnaise
Fresh ground black pepper to taste
Heat the grill to high. While the grill is heating up, mix the turkey and Bacon Salt together and form 1/3 lb patties. Before cooking the turkey burgers, place a paper towel in a bowl with some olive oil and use tongs to coat the surface of your grill with some olive oil (this will ensure a great seared look).
Add the burgers to the hot grill and cook until internal temperature of turkey burgers is 165 degrees F/74 degrees C, approximately 5-6 minutes per side. If you're using cheese, add it onto the top of the burger at the end of the cooking time. While the turkey burgers are cooking, mix together the guaca-bacon-mole by peeling, coring and mashing the avocados and mixing with the other ingredients.
Lightly toast the buns and spread the guaca-bacon-mole on them before serving with the turkey burgers and garnishments. You can also add extra Bacon Salt to taste at the end.

Get those grills fired up, this is a simple and healthy side dish with lots of flavor that could be a staple for your summertime meals.
Grilled Asparagus with Bacon Salt
Prepare a hot grill. Toss asparagus with olive oil and Bacon Salt. Add to grill, turning frequently until crisp-tender - it's OK if some of the tips have a sort of burned look. You can either grill the asparagus on a skewer or just add directly to the grill cross-wise and use tongs. Total cooking time depends on the thickness of the asparagus, but is usually only 2-5 minutes. Serve with some additional Bacon Salt and/or freshly ground black pepper and enjoy!

This is an easy summer salad that includes grilled chicken breasts, fresh veggies and a delicious baconey-ranch dressing that infuses the taste of bacon into the whole dish.
Grilled Chicken Bacon Salad
For the dressing:
Season the chicken breasts with Bacon Salt to taste, and set aside. Chop the lettuce and prepare the cucumbers, tomatoes and toss in the almonds while you prepare a hot grill. Mix the dressing ingredients and refrigerate. Oil the grill and cook the chicken breasts to 180 degrees F. Set aside and let cool for 5-6 minutes, then chop roughly into 1/2" chunks.
Once the chicken is cool, toss with the salad and dressing ingredients, add croutons and serve.

One of our twitter peeps alerted us to this dish, which was featured in the movie V for Vendetta, and supposedly tastes great with Peppered Bacon Salt (or any other flavor for that matter).
Eggy in a Basket with Bacon Salt
Butter bread slices on both sides. Cut a 2 inch circle in the middle of each slice using a cookie cutter or small glass. Place buttered bread slices on a non stick griddle pan, using medium heat. Add a bit of butter to the center of the bread and gently crack your eggs into the hole.
Sprinkle eggs with Peppered (or other flavor) Bacon Salt.
When the eggs begin to set around the edge of the hole, flip them. Finish cooking eggs to your liking (over easy or over medium).
The buttered bread centers can be grilled or toasted to sop up any extra egg.

This is an amazing but true story sent from one of our favorite people, known as @spamspam on twitter, for your viewing enjoyment. We hope that it brings together bacon lovers and mayo lovers everywhere.
This is a true story.
As the tale begins, I was already a huge fan of Bacon Salt. The moment Baconnaise was finally available, I immediately placed my order and awaited the goods. When it arrived, I immediately left my office and picked up my best friend Anna, who I had a long-standing crush on--and who was also as big of a fan of mayonnaise as I was of bacon. We went to the nearest Subway shop, ordered a footlong chicken breast sub with only veggies on it, and proceeded to slather it with Baconnaise. Needless to say, we were both in condiment heaven as we found that Baconnaise was even better than either of us was hoping, and we finished off that jar in only a few days.
A few days after this experience, Anna and I fell deeply in love, and shortly thereafter, decided that we would spend the rest of our lives together. Without hesitation, I credit Baconnaise for sparking the love between this bacon lover and the mayo lover, and since our love blossomed out of a jar of Baconnaise, I can assure you that it will be a core part of our wedding banquet.
Thank you, Justin and Dave, for inventing Baconnaise and sparking the love of a lifetime.
Sincerely,
Spam, your official Bacon Bishop of Baltimore (http://bacn.me/8qv) and founder of the Ministry Of Bacon

This makes a great appetizer or an entree, and eliminates a lot of the effort involved in wrapping scallops in bacon, while infusing the entire scallop with a delicious bacon taste.
Grilled Bacon Salt Sea Scallops
Grilled version: Prepare a very hot grill. Cut sea scallops in half down the middle, and toss with 1 tbsp of any
flavor of Bacon Salt (we especially like Applewood, Peppered, Jalapeno
or Original), olive oil and brown sugar. If you use Maple Bacon Salt, you can omit
the brown sugar. Place scallops directly on grill
(you can use skewers if you have them) for 3-5 minutes on each side. Remove from grill and squirt lightly with
lemon juice.
Oven version: Cut sea scallops in half down the middle, and toss with 1 tbsp of any flavor of Bacon Salt (we especially like Applewood, Peppered, Jalapeno or Original) and brown sugar. If you use Maple Bacon Salt, you can omit the brown sugar. Place scallops on baking sheet and broil in the oven for 5-6 minutes on each side. Remove from oven and squirt lightly with lemon juice. As an optional twist on this version, mostly for color and presentation, you could wrap the scallops in spinach and skewer with a toothpick before broiling.

We made this for a party the other day and served it with Frito's Scoops. This can also be served with any kind of tortilla chip, any type of fresh bread, or regular potato chips. If you make it, your guests will be bacon for more.
BLT Dip with Baconnaise
Mix together all ingredients, and serve with some extra diced tomatoes on top.
Some optional twists to this recipe include adding 2 cups of cheddar cheese and baking at 350 for 20 minutes; adding chopped chives or green onions; or sprinkling real bacon bits on top or into the dip.
