For years, vegetarians have searched in vain for the perfect non-meat bacon. They've tried tofu, soy and (gag) mushrooms. We're not huge fans of eggplant, but perhaps this is what they've been looking for?

well, I definitely miss my bacon, but since finding vegetarian lifestyle, I've been looking for an alternative that's crunchy, salty and awesome.

As the author of the OP, I want to reassure your readers that this stuff tastes about as close to real bacon as a veggie version will ever get. It's especially good wrapped around asparagus and grilled....
