The fine people (or person) at I Hate My Message Board posted a review and has a contest going for a 3 pack of Baconnaise (Lite or Regular). According to Tracy, who runs the site:
It was as if somebody
scraped off my favorite parts of the BLT and whirred it in a blender
and put it in a jar... I enjoyed the baconnaise so much that I want to share it with one of my
readers! Just leave a comment on what you’d like to try baconnaise on.
I’ll take the ideas I like best and try them myself! The winner will be
chosen at random using a random number generator.
We made this the other night and it was ridiculously good. Our 3 year old couldn't get enough of it!
Breaded Chicken a la Baconnaise
4 chicken breasts
1/2 cup Baconnaise
1 1/2 cups Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
Extra Baconnaise
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Brush each chicken breast with Baconnaise (you could leave it in the fridge overnight to get even more bacon flavor). Roll chicken in the breadcrumbs and cook on a greased baking pan. Cook approximately 20 minutes or until internal temperature of chicken reaches 180 degrees. The chicken was incredibly moist and tasty, and we used some extra Baconnaise as a dipping sauce for the chicken.
This Super Bowl Sunday, we went a little nuts. Inspired by our friends at Holy Taco, we decided to make the J&D's Snack Stadium, our shrine to baconey snack food gluttony. It included guacamole and Peppered Bacon Salt and a delicious queso with Baconnaise and Bacon Salt. It also included Twinkies, Taquitos, crispy Tater Tots, Mozzarella sticks, chicken sticks, pizza rolls, mini-corn dogs and sliced baguettes with Baconnaise, pretzel sticks, popcorn, tortilla chips and cheddar and sour cream potato chips. Retail value of this stadium was about $100, which is a deal considering that some stadiums are going for a billion these days (Yankee stadium, for example). Plus ours was way more delicious.
We of course celebrated the completion of this project with plenty of Bacon Salt rimmed bloody mary's. Here's a little video homage to our Bacon Flavored Stadium:
In it, you'll find one shaker of Original Bacon Salt, plus 5 new and amazing Limited Edition flavors like Jalapeno, Cheddar, Applewood, Maple and Mesquite Bacon Salts. In addition, you'll also get our great new product, Baconnaise, which recently scored highly with a national magazine. Finally, for those tender and more private moments, you'll get some J&D's Bacon Lip Balm - now you can make yourself or your loved one taste like bacon.
