I decided to mix three of my favorite foods; Bacon, Tony Packo's Hot Dog Sauce & Smoked Sausage. I ended up creating one of the greatest things my tongue has ever tasted: Bacon Wrapped Smoked Sausage Chili Dogs!
I pan fried smoked sausage that had been split lengthwise until it was almost cooked through then folded bacon over it longways and continued cooking until the Bacon had crisped to the outside of the sausage. This was placed on a bun and loaded up with Tony Packo's Chili Dog Sauce. Each dog was garnished with slivers of Tony Packo's Sweet Hot Pickles & Peppers than sprinkled with Bacon Salt, fresh ground sea salt and ground black pepper.
It was heaven.
