We've always been huge fans of leftover turkey sandwiches. It starts with good bread - preferably sliced French bread, sliced turkey, fixings, stuffing and sometimes even mashed potatoes. This year, I'm making this:
Ultimate Baconnaise Leftover Turkey Sandwich
- Sliced leftover turkey (cold or slightly warmed)
- Baconnaise
- Large tomato - thinly sliced
- Lettuce
- Stuffing
- Mashed potatoes (optional)
- Pepper or Peppered Bacon Salt to taste
Spread Baconnaise on both slices of bread. Place a few thick slices of the turkey on the bread. Add the stuffing and optionally, the mashed potatoes. Top with lettuce, tomato and season with salt and pepper.
Some other variations (none of which we've tried yet with Baconnaise) include using cranberry sauce, gravy, bacon, or sliced hard boiled eggs. If you try any of these combinations, please let us know what worked for you by emailing us at recipes@baconsalt.com.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Baconnaise Recipe: The Ultimate Leftover Turkey Sandwich is very tasty. I like to preffer this sandwich to eat. Thanks for sharing with us how to make this recipe.
