On July 16th of 2007, Justin and I officially launched Bacon Salt. About a month later, after shipping thousands of jars to dozens of countries from my garage, we had to quit our jobs and focus on the pursuit of bacon-flavored interests full-time.
Since then, we got a warehouse. We got employees (great ones). We got distribution in about 3,000 stores, with another 4,000 on the way this summer. We sent lots of Bacon Salt to troops stationed in bacon-less countries. We started experimenting with new and delicious products, some of which you're going to see later this year. We gained about 10 pounds each. And we've had the time of our lives!
So a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone that bought Bacon Salt over the past year. This wouldn't have been possible without your appetite for the great taste of bacon, and the often hilarious notes of encouragement we've been sent on a daily basis since we started this. Thanks to all the media that have covered our story. And thanks most of all to our wives, friends, and family members for supporting us through this whole crazy experience. We couldn't have done it without you.
