Bacon Salt Recipe: Jalapeno Poppers

Jalapeno_poppers I love spicy food, which is why Jalapeno Poppers have to be one of my favorite appetizers. This recipe was submitted to us by Nathan in Chicago.

Jalapeño Poppers

12 Jalapeños

8oz block of cream cheese

1 1/2 T Peppered Bacon Salt

Remove the stems of the jalapeños. Cut the jalapeños in half and remove the seeds. Wash the pepper halves. In a bowl, mix the Bacon Salt and the cream cheese. Using a butter knife, spread the cream cheese mixture inside of each jalapeño. Place the jalapeños on the grill until the peppers are softened (approx 5 minutes). Let cool for a couple of minutes and enjoy.

P.S. (from Nathan)  I have served these at my block party and my firehouse and they couldn't get enough of them.
