Bacon Salt martinis

Baconmartini We recently got the following note from a Bacon Salt - aholic here in Seattle named Melanie:

I just moved to Seattle with my boyfriend Alex, and it's like Bacon Salt Heaven here, with bacon salt on the shelves of a dozen stores in our neighborhood. Now we use it in eggs, with pasta, potatoes, you name it. But I noticed a big gap in the recipes on your website.

Alex and I like to have a martini in the evening before dinner sometimes, and Alex came up with a great idea.  Why not rim the glass in Bacon Salt? Now our new tradition is a dirty gin martini with jalepeno olives and a tasty Bacon Salt rim!

I also think the Peppered flavor was MADE to rim a Bloody Mary.  Nice work, guys!

As I replied to Melanie, we love getting your recipes at recipes@baconsalt.com. We'll be updating the recipe section of our website soon with lots of new and great ones, so stay tuned!

Interesting!

The original bacon martini was concocted at the Double Down Saloon in Las Vegas (a couple of blocks from the Hard Rock Hotel).

Apparently, brilliant minds think alike.
