Two great Bacon Salt recipes and one very bad idea

Tami at Running with Tweezers (a popular food blog) is serving up some delicious sounding Bacon Salt recipes, including Penne Pasta with Arugula, Mascarpone, and Bacon Salt and Pan Fried Kale with Peppered Bacon Salt. Highly recommend checking them out as they sound delicious!

C0nsumer, however, is eating some items dredged in Bacon Salt that shouldn't be consumed by human beings. But you have to admire his dedication!

I would love to try the bacon salt, all three varieties, however, I am gluten intolerant and can't eat wheat. Is a wheatless version on the way?

We're working on it! There's an all natural version coming, and we are trying to make it without wheat. Can't promise you that we'll succeed, but we'll keep you posted!

Has anyone tried Bacon Salt on bacon? Or will the combination cause one's head to explode?

We have actually tried Bacon Salt on bacon, defying the experts who predicted it would cause a rip in the space time continuum. We're happy to report that it was actually quite good - it made bacon taste even more bacon-ney and delicious. One local chef calls the combination "bacon on steroids."

Now the only thing left to do is to drive to Snook, Texas to Sodolak's Country Inn, for a big plate of Chicken Fried Bacon...covered in BaconSalt...in accordance with prophecy, this might start the end of humanity!
