Today we officially launched our delicious seasoning to the universe.
It's quite ironic that this is the Year of the Pig on the Chinese calendar - it's almost like some greater bacon-loving force willed us to create this. It seems to be influencing a very wide range of people around the country, as within 5 hours of launch, we've had over 100 orders from all over the country from as far away as South Riding, VA; Seal Cove, Maine; Overland Park, Kansas; Fort Wayne, Indiana; San Diego and Redwood City, CA; New York, NY; and dozens of other far off places (no China yet). We've started a custom Google Map that we'll try to keep as up-to-date as possible that will show where Bacon Salt has traveled, been eaten and purchased.
We owe everything to all of our friends and family that have continue to support us, many of whom provided their assistance, talents and tastebuds on our quest to make everything taste like bacon. Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your support, and for never looking at us like we had 3 heads when we told you that we were going to make a bacon-flavored seasoning product.
If you're ready to try Bacon Salt or purchase it as a gift, what are you doing reading this? Get over to www.baconsalt.com and buy some. Once you're hooked (and we know you will be - on average, people that try it tell their friends, relatives, casual acquaintances and complete strangers they encounter), seek out the store manager at your local grocery store and tell them those 5 little words we love to hear: "I want my Bacon Salt!!"

Quick question - can you please let me know who provides the kosher certification? Sounds like a great product!

I'm curious. it's vegetarian but is it vegan? Does it use any animal products in it?

Brad - it is not vegan, it does contain some dairy products in it. We are coming out with an all-natural version soon that likely will not, and would be happy to notify you!
